Free Download: Louis Setara "Can't Stop The River"

I like women with big pipes. I like women that scream their heart out and make you feel something. Like in that Jennifer "And I'm Telling You I'm Not Going" Hudson kind of way. But sometimes an incredible voice does not equal a phenomenal song.
Check out "Can't Stop The River" by emerging British artist Louise Setara. She is only 18 years old and describes her passion for music in a press biography. "Before I could even talk properly, I was singing," she says. "My mom has a recording of me singing Patsy Cline’s 'I Love You Honey' at three-years-old." Her mother home-schooled Louise in academics and music to make sure she had enough time to tune her talent. At age 15, she was discovered by Kwame Kwaten who previously orked with artists like Seal and Mick Jagger.
Setara's debut album is titled "Still Waters" and is released on Manhattan/EMI. The track "Can't Stop The River" shows that Setara definitely has the pipes to deliver a great song, but this track just fails to make a lasting impression. It is bland and even a little boring. It just seems I've heard it somewhere before and I'm not sure what void she's trying to fill. What do you think? (Thanks to EMI for allowing me the share the music.)
